I was responsible for the phone, selling of the boats, customer title work, ordering of boat parts, shipping, Human Resources, assisted with payroll, customer relations, communications with vendors, distribution of catalogs, performed administrative clerical duties, processed outgoing and incoming mail, scheduling of appointments and assisted with trade show coordination and the training of office employees. E-mail correspondence, photographed and assisted in the planning and coordination of special events, scheduling of appointments, served as the on-site media contact, maintained mailing lists, conducted research, took orders for and shipping of T-shirts and hats, communications with vendors. The third year I designed and maintained the original company web site, which had over 200 pages with 100 links to other web sites. I worked on and maintained the web site on a daily basis. The web site attracted 400,000 hits per week. I put together a scrapbook for the company, which consists of 143 pages and growing. These books were used for the promotion of the boats and the company’s image.
